Install and Set Up Applications

In order to implement the enterprise product integration solution, you need to first install and set up the following versions of these Flexera Software applications:

Application	Version	Installation and Setup Instructions
AdminStudio Professional or Enterprise Edition	11.5 SP2 or later	To install and set up AdminStudio: Install AdminStudio, as described in the AdminStudio Installation Guide. Open Application Manager and create an Application Catalog database on an SQL Server. Connect to the Flexera Service Gateway, as described in <MadCap:xref class="GeneralCrossRef" href="EPI_AStoFSG.htm#as_980710089_1040740">Connecting AdminStudio to the Flexera Service Gateway</MadCap:xref>. Perform other configuration steps, as described in <MadCap:xref class="GeneralCrossRef" href="EPI_ASRoot.htm#as_980710089_1040567">Configuring AdminStudio</MadCap:xref>.
App Portal	7.5.3 or later (for FlexNet Manager Suite On Premises or FlexNet Manager Platform) 9.0.3 or later (for FlexNet Manager Suite Cloud)	To install and set up App Portal: Install App Portal, as described in App Portal Installation Guide. During installation, specify your distribution system information. Connect to the Flexera Service Gateway, as described in <MadCap:xref class="GeneralCrossRef" href="EPI_ConnectAPtoFSG.htm#appportal_3986169334_1040738">Connecting App Portal to the Flexera Service Gateway</MadCap:xref>. Perform other configuration steps, as described in <MadCap:xref class="GeneralCrossRef" href="EPI_AppPortalRoot.htm#appportal_3986169334_1057433">Configuring App Portal</MadCap:xref>.
FlexNet Manager Suite On Premises	2014 or later	To install and set up FlexNet Manager Suite On Premises: Install FlexNet Manager Suite On Premises, as described in the Installing FlexNet Manager Suite On Premises guide, which is available from the Flexera Software Product and License Center. Import the FlexNet Manager Suite On Premises Application Recognition Library, as described in <MadCap:xref class="GeneralCrossRef" href="EPI_ImportARL.htm#fnmsonpremfnmp_1421059611_1080701">Importing the Application Recognition Library (ARL)</MadCap:xref>. Connect to the Flexera Service Gateway, as described in <MadCap:xref class="GeneralCrossRef" href="EPI_ConnectFNMSuiteFSG.htm#fnmsonpremfnmp_1421059611_1040725">Connecting FlexNet Manager Suite On Premises to the Flexera Service Gateway</MadCap:xref>. Perform other configuration steps, as described in <MadCap:xref class="GeneralCrossRef" href="EPI_FNMPRoot.htm#fnmsonpremfnmp_1421059611_1066214">Configuring FlexNet Manager Suite On Premises</MadCap:xref>.
FlexNet Manager Platform	9.2.3	Starting with the 2014 release, this product’s name was changed to FlexNet Manager Suite On Premises. To install and set up FlexNet Manager Platform: Install FlexNet Manager Platform, as described in the FlexNet Manager Platform Installation Guide, which is available from the Flexera Software Product and License Center. Import the FlexNet Manager Platform Application Recognition Library, as described in <MadCap:xref class="GeneralCrossRef" href="EPI_ImportARL.htm#fnmsonpremfnmp_1421059611_1080701">Importing the Application Recognition Library (ARL)</MadCap:xref>. Connect to the Flexera Service Gateway, as described in <MadCap:xref class="GeneralCrossRef" href="EPI_ConnectFNMSuiteFSG.htm#fnmsonpremfnmp_1421059611_1040725">Connecting FlexNet Manager Suite On Premises to the Flexera Service Gateway</MadCap:xref>. Perform other configuration steps, as described in <MadCap:xref class="GeneralCrossRef" href="EPI_FNMPRoot.htm#fnmsonpremfnmp_1421059611_1066214">Configuring FlexNet Manager Suite On Premises</MadCap:xref>.
FlexNet Manager Suite Cloud	2014 or later	Perform the following tasks: Configuring the FlexNet Manager Suite Inventory Beacon Registering FlexNet Manager Suite Cloud with the Flexera Service Gateway Registering App Portal with FlexNet Manager Suite Cloud and Flexera Service Gateway
Workflow Manager	6.5 or later	To install and set up Workflow Manager: Install Workflow Manager, as described in the Workflow Manager Installation Guide. Create companies and user accounts. Create workflow templates and projects. Connect to the Flexera Service Gateway, as described in <MadCap:xref class="GeneralCrossRef" href="EPI_WFMtoFSG.htm#wfm_4009021555_1041912">Connecting Workflow Manager to the Flexera Service Gateway</MadCap:xref>. Perform other configuration steps, as described in <MadCap:xref class="GeneralCrossRef" href="EPI_WFMRoot.htm#wfm_4009021555_1040567">Configuring Workflow Manager </MadCap:xref>. In order for product integration to work, Workflow Manager cannot be installed on the same server as App Portal.
